(SPECIAL ORDER) Royal Gramma

The Royal Gramma is a small, brightly colored basslet native to the Caribbean Sea and western Atlantic, typically inhabiting reef caves, ledges, and shaded rock crevices. A minimum tank size of 30–50 gallons is recommended with plenty of live rock and hiding spaces to mimic its natural habitat. Ideal water parameters are 72–78°F, salinity 1.020–1.025, and pH 8.1–8.4 with stable, high-quality filtration. Royal Grammas are carnivorous, feeding on zooplankton, small crustaceans, and marine worms, and should be offered a varied diet including mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, copepods, and high-quality marine preparations. They are peaceful to semi-territorial, generally reef-safe, and do best in mature aquariums with plenty of rockwork for shelter and territory.
