(SPECIAL ORDER) Chestnut Blenny
The Chestnut Blenny is a small, hardy reef-associated blenny native to the eastern Atlantic and Mediterranean, typically found perching on rocks, crevices, and coral rubble. A minimum tank size of 30–50 gallons is recommended with plenty of live rock, hiding spots, and caves to mimic its natural habitat. Ideal water parameters are 72–78°F, salinity 1.020–1.025, and pH 8.1–8.4 with stable, high-quality conditions. Chestnut Blennies are omnivorous, feeding on small crustaceans, algae, and detritus, and should be offered a diet of spirulina-based foods, mysis shrimp, and finely chopped marine fare. They are peaceful, reef-safe, and relatively easy to care for, making them suitable for beginner to intermediate aquarists.
