(SPECIAL ORDER) Orangespot Filefish
The Orangespot Filefish, Acreichthys radiatus, is a small, colorful marine fish with bright orange spots and a slender body, making it a striking addition to reef tanks. It requires a minimum tank size of 30–50 gallons, with salinity of 1.023–1.025, pH 8.1–8.4, and temperature 75–80°F (24–27°C). Omnivorous and peaceful, it actively grazes on Aiptasia and other pest anemones, while also accepting finely chopped meaty foods and algae-based diets. Best kept with peaceful tankmates, it should not be housed with aggressive or large predatory fish. This is a Moderate species, hardy for aquarists with some experience, though consistent care and monitoring are recommended to maintain health and tank stability.
