(SPECIAL ORDER) Dispar Anthias (EXPERT ONLY)
The Dispar Anthias is a small, active planktivorous reef fish native to the Indo-Pacific, commonly found schooling along reef slopes and outer reef drop-offs where plankton-rich currents are abundant. A minimum tank size of 70–120 gallons is recommended, especially when keeping groups, as they naturally form harems consisting of one male and several females. Ideal water parameters are 72–78°F, salinity 1.020–1.025, and pH 8.1–8.4 with strong water movement and excellent filtration. Dispar Anthias are carnivorous planktivores, feeding on zooplankton and small crustaceans, and require frequent daily feedings of mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, copepods, and finely chopped marine foods. Due to their sensitive nature and difficulty acclimating, this species is considered Expert Only and is exempt from livestock health guarantees.
