(SPECIAL ORDER) Blue Throat Trigger
The Blue Throat Triggerfish, Xanthichthys auromarginatus, is a beautifully patterned marine fish known for its metallic blue throat and contrasting body coloration. Males are more vibrant, with brighter blue throats and slightly larger bodies, while females have subtler coloration and smaller size. Omnivorous and peaceful, it feeds on meaty foods such as shrimp, squid, and fish, as well as high-quality marine pellets or frozen preparations. Blue Throat Triggerfish are relatively non-aggressive and can be kept with other medium to large, non-aggressive tankmates. They benefit from plenty of rockwork for hiding and territory, along with open swimming space and strong filtration. This is a Moderate species, suitable for aquarists with some saltwater experience.
