The Blue Spot Toby, Canthigaster solandri, is a small, colorful marine puffer known for its bright blue spots and compact body. It requires a minimum tank size of 50 gallons, with salinity 1.023–1.025, pH 8.1–8.4, and temperature 75–82°F (24–28°C). Omnivorous, it feeds on meaty foods such as shrimp and small fish, as well as algae and prepared marine diets. Blue Spot Tobies are generally peaceful but may nip at small invertebrates. This is a Moderate species, suitable for aquarists with some saltwater experience.
