(SPECIAL ORDER) Bicolor Parrot

The Bicolor Parrotfish, Cetoscarus bicolor, is a medium to large marine fish known for its striking two-toned coloration, with a bright front half contrasting against a darker rear half, and a strong beak-like mouth used to graze on algae. It requires a minimum tank size of 180 gallons, with salinity 1.023–1.025, pH 8.1–8.4, and temperature 75–82°F (24–28°C). Herbivorous by nature, it feeds primarily on algae and other plant matter, but will also accept prepared marine herbivore diets. Bicolor Parrotfish are generally peaceful with other fish but require plenty of swimming space and live rock for grazing. This is a Moderate species, suitable for aquarists with some saltwater experience.
