(SPECIAL ORDER) Marine Betta

The Marine Betta, also known as the Comet, is a striking, reef-associated predator from the Indo-Pacific, often hiding among crevices and under ledges during the day. A minimum tank size of 75–100 gallons is recommended to provide ample hiding spots and swimming space. Water parameters should be 72–78°F, salinity 1.020–1.025, and pH 8.1–8.4 with stable conditions. Marine Bettas are carnivorous, feeding on small crustaceans, mysis shrimp, and other meaty marine foods, and are best offered a varied diet of live or frozen shrimp, chopped seafood, and meaty pellets. They are peaceful but shy, making them ideal for mature reef aquariums with plenty of rockwork for hiding and ambushing prey.
