(SPECIAL ORDER) Harlequin Tusk

The Harlequin Tusk Wrasse is a colorful, active wrasse native to the Indo-Pacific, commonly found along reef slopes, lagoons, and sandy patches near coral reefs. A minimum tank size of 75–100 gallons is recommended, with a deep sand bed (2–3 inches) for burrowing and plenty of live rock for shelter. Water parameters should be 72–78°F, salinity 1.020–1.025, and pH 8.1–8.4. Harlequin Tusk Wrasses are carnivorous, feeding on small crustaceans, worms, and other invertebrates, and should be offered a varied diet of mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and finely chopped seafood. They are peaceful, reef-safe, and moderately active, requiring a well-established aquarium with hiding spaces and a secure sand bed for nighttime burrowing.
