(SPECIAL ORDER) Ruby Red Dragonette (EXPERT ONLY)

The Ruby Red Dragonet is a small, vibrantly colored dragonet native to the Indo-Pacific, commonly found along sandy patches near live rock and coral reefs. A minimum tank size of 50–75 gallons is recommended with ample live rock and established copepod populations, as these fish feed almost exclusively on live small invertebrates. Ideal water parameters are 72–78°F, salinity 1.020–1.025, and pH 8.1–8.4, with stable, mature aquarium conditions. Ruby Red Dragonets are carnivorous, feeding primarily on copepods, amphipods, and other microfauna, and require continuous access to live food or a well-established reef tank with thriving microfauna. Due to their sensitive feeding requirements and reliance on live prey, this species is considered Expert Only and is exempt from livestock health guarantees.
