(SPECIAL ORDER) Angel Shark (EXPERT ONLY)

The Angel Shark, Squatina squatina, is a flattened, bottom-dwelling shark known for its wide body, broad pectoral fins, and camouflaged pattern that helps it blend with the substrate. It requires a minimum tank size of 1000 gallons, with salinity 1.023–1.025, pH 8.1–8.4, and temperature 75–80°F (24–27°C). Carnivorous, it feeds on meaty foods such as shrimp, squid, clams, and small fish. Angel Sharks are sedentary and require a soft sandy substrate to protect their underbelly, along with plenty of hiding spaces. This is an EXPERT-ONLY species due to its large adult size, delicate nature, and sensitivity to water quality, and it is exempt from any guarantees.
